Nancy Drew is my Homegirl: Fangirl Five Friday (12)
Fangirl Five Friday is a weekly feature here at Nancy Drew Is My Homegirl. And you can participate! All you have to do is create a list of the top five things you're fangirling about this week. It can be anything--- books, TV, movies, music, Internet clips, life, whatever you're super psyched about this week. Just be sure to sign in to Mister Linky's Magical Widget so i can check out your list too! Oh and have fun!!!Now..... let the fangirling begin!
1. Lola and the Boy Next Door!
i'm currently reading Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins. And i'm currently LOVING Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins! Although i'm suffering the same conundrum as when i read Anna and the French Kiss. Which is this: i wanna hurry and finish reading this book to see how it all turns out but i wish that this story could last forever because i just don't wanna give up these characters yet. In short, Stephanie Perkins is a genius!!! She has the ability to write these amazing stories that you get so immersed in you don't ever want to leave them. i can't wait for Ms.Nancy Drew Starter Set

Carolyn Keene Perkins to write another book! She is quickly becoming my new favorite author.
(P.S. i loooooooooves me some Cricket!)
2. Spliterature!
This is my new favorite game over at USA Network's Character Arcade! Play it here and let your own crazy obsession begin!
3. The Challenge: Battle of the Exes!
i'm only slightly ashamed that i still watch the Real World/Road Rules Challenges. This season it's all about the Battle of the Exes!
A lot of the players are the same as they've always been. Meaning the same old people you're sick of seeing. (i'm looking at you Wes, Johnny Bananas and Paula. Get a REAL job already!)
But there are a few newbies. i almost always root for the Rookies. i like an underdog. And i'm kinda happy with this crop of Rooks because it seems like they might be ready to dethrone the Vets. That's something i'd definitely like to see!
Hopefully this year a Rookie team will take first place. If not, let's at least hope that it doesn't go to Wes, Johnny Bananas or Paula.

4. The Vow!
Ok, i know this movie doesn't come out until February but every time i see this trailer, i totally wanna see it! Which is cray cray cos normally this won't be my kind of thing at all. But there's just something about Channing Tatum that i find oddly fascinating. And i don't even know what it is. i guess i just have major respect for a guy that's not afraid to put a tampon up his nose! ;) If you've seen She's The Man, you totally know what i mean!
5. Adorable Up! Inspired Engagement and Wedding Photos!
So, ok, i don't know this couple but i found these pics courtesy of Laura over at The Traveling Owl (check out her blog!)
This is perhaps the cutest idea i've ever heard of. i LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie Up! It's one of my all time faves! So when i saw this couples engagement and wedding photos were Up! themed, i fangirled out hard-core.
Here is the link to their engagement pictures which are too cute for words. And here is the link for their wedding pictures which are also too cute for words.
i see now after posting these links that it's kinda odd fangirling about pics of someone else's wedding/engagement. Especially when it's someone you don't even know. But whatevs. They're just too damn cute! That song and the first like 5 minutes of the movie kept running through my head while i browsed through the pictures.
God that's so sweet. And sad!
Anyhoo, here's the link to the website for the photographers. It's called Wildflowers Photography. Click through to look at some of their other work. It's really beautiful.
That's my list for this Friday. What about y'all? What are you fangirling about this week? Comment away and make a list of your own if you'd like. And i'll see ya next Friday!
